環保觸覺經常不厭其煩的指責香港人用多咗條毛好唔環保, 呻咗兩行鼻涕又唔環保, 專向最雞毛蒜皮既小事著手, 然後就話要收錢, 結果就係將件事越搞越唔環保.
好似膠袋稅, 事前話抽左膠袋稅就掂, 但事實係抽稅後塑膠使用量反而上升5%, 用多咗膠, 更加唔環保.
破壞地球既環保觸覺成員, 又會唔會為咗保護環境, 食咗多出黎既膠呢?
當然唔會! 佢地淨係識得排放二氧化碳, 加劇全球暖化問題.
環保觸覺最唔環保既地方就係, 佢地次次都要開記者招侍會黎宣布佢地既絕世好橋. 點解一定要開記招? 點解唔識用Teleconference, 寫blog或者email ?
記招場地要冷氣、燈光, 浪費幾多電, 幾唔環保呀!

-carbon offset is done by planting more trees in developing countries, which compensates for the papers wasted from the press con.
-"green" is all about making things efficient. so asking all the reporters to show up at the press con can increase their work load per month, resulting in higher efficiency since their salary is fixed.
okay, i know it sounds BS. but this is what talking "green" is all about haha.....

ReplyDeleteI feel that point 3 is kinda inconsistent with the first two. Using their argument, it is not about economically efficient, it's about environment!
Well, Al gore may say:
Therefore, reporters should buy cable-offset credits....bla bla bla
the idea of carbon offset itself is a joke. it's like telling people it's okay to kill others as much as they can, as long as they safe the same amount of people. gore himself made a fortune in this business, that's why he so such a "leader" haha...
ReplyDeleteif i work in the cattle industry, i would encourage people to eat more beef since cow fart emission is far more serious that cars. if we can eat cows faster than they breed and grow, one day we can eliminate the axis of evil and live a green life haha.....
Those "greenists" are more materialistic than all of us. They just want money.
ReplyDeleteIf they think plastic is bad for the earth, they should advocate universal plastic ban, all kind of plastic. But they just want some pennies.
Again, for the carbon offset stuff. Same logic. They love emission. That's the way they earn their livings.
